Our Stories

Ben’s Story

I was raised in Titusville, Florida where my family still lives.  In 2004 I attended a Discipleship Training School with Youth With a Mission and felt God leading me towards ministry in North Africa.  After I finished the program, I moved to Southern Spain, where I worked at their North Africa Training Center, coordinating short term mission teams for the region.  In 2009 I returned to Dallas and studied the Bible for a year at Criswell College.  In 2010 Krista and I were married and in 2011 we moved to Poland to start this next phase of ministry together. After two years of language studies in Krakow we moved to Wroclaw. For the past six years we have been engaging with local churches help them reach university students in Wroclaw. Our desire is to disciple them, and help them walk with Jesus and share Christ with their friends.

Krista’s Story

I grew up in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.  After high school I moved to the US to attend university on a volleyball scholarship.  I quickly got involved with athletic ministry on campus, and by my third year was leading Bible studies and other outreach activities for athletes.  During university I also went on international mission trips to Poland and Peru.  And in 2002, after graduating I moved to Poland to reach out to university students.  In 2006 I moved to Southern Poland to help train youth leaders as well as organize evangelistic English and sport camps.  In 2008, after serving 6 years in Poland, I returned to study the Bible at Dallas Theological Seminary.  I am thankful to be serving the Lord in Poland, alongside my husband and with our five children!
